MOTOR THAT WORKS WITH THE HEAT OF A CUP OF COFFEE

In 1816 a called Scot Robert Stirling, he patented a motor that worked with hot air.

Overthrown by the internal combustion engine he was relagado to the forgetfulness, but soon they went away using in spaceships.

One of the most surprising things of this type of motor is that it uses any source of heat. Today one is being to use the thermal heat sources as the geysers but without many results.

This small Stirling motor can extract the energy contained in a little water and is constructed it using material very homemade.


The motor that we presented has placed on a coffee cup and the part superior cools off with an ice piece. It can work by about 30 minutes. the speed Of operation varies between 170 rpm, after it to have placed on the cup, until the 25 rpm in the end when the water cools off.

Materials

- The box is of a great cream tin for the face.
- The walls are of soda water bottle of plastic transparency of 1.5 liters. The height of the walls is of 24 mm of stop.
